Adhering to guidelines
Throughout the pandemic, I will be following guidelines issued by the government, NHS, other relevant authorities and my professional association, the Federation of Holistic Therapists, regarding safe and hygienic practice and the use of any personal protective equipment (PPE).
How we will be taking care of you, to ensure every visit is worry free and relaxing
Bookings are to be made by Phone , Text or email .
At the time of making a booking you will be asked several Corona Virus related questions in order to check your suitability for treatment. we will send you an E-consultation form which we kindly ask that you return no later than 24 hours prior to your treatment or immediately, whichever is soonest.
At Risk Groups
If you have been advised by a medical professional that you are within a ‘at risk group’, we kindly ask that you refrain from booking an appointment for the moment. Until the government has given you the all clear that the risk is minimal .
Upon arrival clients will be asked to use the hand sanitiser prior to entering
Appropriate PPE will be worn by staff at all times.
Therapists are trained in infection control, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and has passed a dedicated Covid-19 Health & Safety course too.
I have introduced enhanced cleaning and hygiene measures between clients, which includes washing and disinfecting any non-porous surfaces and therapy equipment, such as chairs and couches, and replacing any non-porous or single-use items, such as towels and couch roll. Strict personal hygiene measures will also be adhered to, including regular handwashing/ sanitising.
Adapting or restricting treatments
It may be necessary for me to adapt or restrict certain treatments, in order to reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 and/or protect my clients’ health and safety. Any clients likely to be impacted will be advised as soon as possible.
You will be issued with a specific treatment time slot; we kindly ask that you are punctual to enable us to adhere to strict timing guidelines. If you are late, we won’t be able to be as flexible as we may have been in the past. Lateness may result in your treatment being cut short to accommodate other clients on our schedule, or not being carried out at all.
We can offer cashless Payments, we will be disinfecting our card machine after every client, as usual.
We are happy to send an invoice prior to your treatment, if this works better for you if you want to pay by bank transfer.
Cash should be the correct money
We will not be providing any refreshments, so please arrive to your appointment hydrated, you are welcome to bring your own bottle water
With the COVID -19 virus, there is always a risk with any close contact treatment, we ask you do not attend if you are sick or are showing any signs of the virus or have been in contact with any one that has the virus or has been in self isolation, and ask that your contact details are correct for NHS track and trace. we will not be held responsible if you fall ill or pass the virus on, as we have put in place all the government guidelines to protect you and our staff and other customers .
